studio politiare was founded in 2013 by Jonas Becker an urban designer and Timm Bergmann an architect both from Berlin. Interested in architecture, mobility and social-political consulting. The first project was a summer cabin in Finland. Together as studio politaire both build and designed different houses. 

During the last decade Jonas Becker worked as an mobility planner for orange edge in Hamburg and won multiple competitions on municipal and federal level. He has a strong focus on concept and strategy, always trying to find the best idea on implementing. Currently he works as an consultant mobility for the Climate Alliance Germany, the biggest organisation, pushing for social, ecological and economic transformation. Over the years he build up a strong network to unions, environmental and social organisations, federal and national ministries, companies and journalists. He published more than 12 studies on different topics in mobility and financial issues and has record on successful implementing policies a.e. the social purchase bonus on BEVs in 2026.

During his free time he  keeps studio politaire running which is an open collective integrating other interested young professionals from architecture, urban planning and consulting in climate change, social-economic transformation and politics.
